| On "Portugal Day" 19??, Portuguese President Ramalho Eanes awarded Frank Barcelos as Commander (Comendator) of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator. His portrait on page 115 of the book "Man and the Sea" shows Barcelos wearing the medal of the Order. |
