These gallery pages are of scrimwork by Rod Lacey of Cairns, Queensland, Australia. These two whale teeth depict Rod's son Shaun at age 9-months. Mom & Dad can be found at bottom of this page.

Bull Bison on a 140-mm (5.5-inch) & 306-gram (10.8-oz) tooth from an old Sperm whale.

Cow & Calf Dromedary on a 150-mm (5.9-inch) & 358-gram (12.6-oz) Sperm whale tooth.

Dockside, above, is on a 180-mm (7.1-inch) & 423-gram (14.9-ounce) Sperm whale tooth.  Inspired by "The Scrimshander", page 41.

The Harpooner to the left is on a 170-mm (6.7-inch) & 340-gram (12-ounce) Sperm whale tooth. Inspired by “Scrimshaw: The Whalers Legacy”, page 24.

Inuit Artisan to the right is on a 150-mm (5.9-inch) & 120-gram (4.2-ounce) section of Mammoth ivory. Inspired by "The 2nd Scrimshaw Connection", p29.

Eagle Portrait, below, is on a 115-mm (4.5-inch) & 107-gram (3.8-inch) Sperm whale tooth. Inspired by "The Scrimshaw Connection", p94.

Breaching Orca, to the left, is on a 165-mm (5.8-inch) & 325-gram (11.5-ounce) Sperm whale tooth. Inspired by "The Scrimshaw Connection", p60. Young Gorilla Portrait, right, is on a 145-mm (5.7-inch) & 356-gram (12.6-ounce) Sperm whale tooth.

Sow Polar Bear & Cub is on a 130-mm (5.1-inch) & 168-gram (5.9-ounce) Sperm whale tooth. Inspred by "The Second Scrimshaw  Connection", p170.

Humpback Whaling is on a 330-mm (13-inch) & 435-gram (17.1-oz) Hippo tooth.

Lioness & Cub is on a 990-mm (39-inch) & 6-kg (21-ounce) Asian Elephant tusk.
