SCULPEY Oven Bake Clay for use in mounting teeth on spindle stands By Douglass Moody

Step 1 : Knead a small amount of Sculpey until warm and pliable, to approximately the plug size required to fill 2/3 of the tooth cavity, as shown.

Note: Sculpey oven bake clay is available at most craft supply stores. The 1.75 pound package shown is the most economical.

Step 2 : Place the warm Sculpey in Saran Wrap and press deep into the root cavity.

Step 3: Gently pull the Saran Wrap to extract the Sculpey plug. Re-shape as needed to 3/4 fill the root cavity. Re-shape and re-insert several times until an exact fit is achieved.

Step 4: Once Sculpey plug exactly fits the root cavity, press the spindle straight into the Sculpey. Best method is to lower the tooth with Sculpey plug onto the standing spindle, to obtain the desired tooth position.
